You are invited to say three “Hail Marys” on one special date of the month for our priests.
4. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONFIRMED
You are invited to join the “31 Club” since, spiritually, you have become an adult.
If your pastor so wishes The Christian names of the Friends of The Lamb could be placed on a Notice Board in the church with your name listed under the particular date that you have chosen.. To become a FRIEND OF THE LAMB all you have to do is :

Friends of the Lamb Invitation
This is a very special invitation to YOU, our young parishioners to become “Friends of The Lamb” and to pray for our priests and for vocations in our parish during the “Year for Priests” JESUS IS THE LAMB. At Holy Mass we say “Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world.”
FRIENDS OF THE LAMB can be tiny babes in arms, children preparing for First Holy Communion, and older youngsters who have not yet been confirmed. In short absolutely every young parishioner who has not yet been confirmed is invited to become a Friend of The Lamb!!!!
1. EXPECTANT MOTHERS are also warmly invited to become Friends of The Lamb and pray with their little unborn baby for “our priests”.
2. PRE-FIRST COMMUNION CHILDREN. If you have not yet made your First Holy Communion you are asked to say one Hail Mary for our priests on one particular date in the month.
Of course if you are just a tiny little baby you will not yet know the words of the “Hail Mary” but your mothers, fathers or guardians will know them and they can recite them for the wellbeing of our priests as they hold you in their arms. Just imagine the joy in a mother’s heart as she announces to the priest immediately after he has baptised her little baby that henceforth both she and her child will pray for him on a special day each month.
You are only asked to say one Hail Mary on an easy to remember date in the month such as your baptism or birth date. Of course if you want to you could pray as many days of the month as you wish, but the idea is to encourage you to commence praying for our priests. You are not being asked to do something difficult but something beautiful. It is your special gift to our priests and our parish.
